Apply for our Summer Internship program and spend your summer enhancing your skills, sharing your ideas and making a difference in the real world! This Internship is a 10-week program.
As an Operations Intern at Atom, you’ll gain hands on experience whilst having fun and contributing to a thriving North-East based Fintech. You’ll be challenged with completing tasks that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives.
Throughout the Summer you’ll work within a team responsible for Operational Resilience & Third-Party Risk Management, this team supports the rest of Atom in procuring services & systems whilst monitoring efficiency and performance. You’ll gain great exposure to various business areas and broadly understand how a FinTech operates. You’ll get the opportunity to work on a transformation project currently ongoing, whilst also learning how BAU processes & procedures are integral to the bank.

What do we need from you?
- Be available to work full-time, 34 hours over 4 days between 24th June - 30th August 2024
- Reside in the North-East as this role requires 4 days a week in our Durham HQ
- Be studying a Business related undergraduate degree
- Demonstrable interest in Operations
- Be an innovative thinker and problem solver
- Be a team player
- Possess sound communication skills
