New feature alert: Instant Saver to Fixed Saver funding
Hi there. We’ve got a fresh new app feature to share. This one is extra special as it’s something that many of you have been asking for, so we already know you’re going to love it!
We’ve added a new option that will allow you to transfer funds directly from your existing Instant Saver when you open a new Fixed Saver. This will make it easier than ever to manage your savings within the Atom app.
What does this new feature bring to the app?
At Atom, we’re always looking for ways to improve our customer experience. So when we picked up on your requests for this feature, we knew we had to get to work.
Using our new direct Instant Saver to Fixed Saver transfer option means you don’t need to move your money from an external bank account to a Fixed Saver if you’ve already got funds in an Instant Saver. Our new feature is all in-app, so you’ll save time by not having to switch apps to complete the transfer.
Of course, if you have funds in an external account that you want to add to your Fixed Saver, you can still move them over as usual within the 7 day deposit window.
We also believe that this new feature will help you get the most out of your money. If you have a consistent balance in your Instant Saver and you won’t need to access these funds anytime soon, you can now move these funds smoothly over to a Fixed Saver and lock in a better rate for a period between 6 months and 5 years.
How does our Instant Saver to Fixed Saver funding work?
To make the most of our new feature, follow these simple steps:
- Make sure you’ve opened a Fixed Saver and the deposit window is open
- From your Instant Saver, tap the Withdraw money option
- Choose your desired Fixed Saver and tap continue
- Enter the amount you’d like to transfer over
- Enter a payment reference for your transaction
- Review the transfer information and tap continue
- Your funds will be instantly moved to your Fixed Saver
How can I get access to this new feature?
You don’t need to do anything else. Just make sure your Atom app is up to date and you should be able to access this option right away.
